-Sunday, January 22, 9:00 AM, Talk on "The Importance of Bodily Ritual in Buddhist Religious Practice" by David Gardiner. Location: First Congregational Church, 20 E. St. Vrain St., Colorado Springs, 635-3549.
-Wednesdays, February 1, 15, and 29, 7:00-8:30 PM, Inquiry with Zen Texts. Join us with two local Buddhist teachers for a contemplative conversation based on some short classical texts from the Zen Buddhist traditions of China and Japan. We will read and discuss koan texts and more conventional yet rich spiritual writings. Come explore different ways to read Zen texts that invite deep inquiry into the great matters of life and death with grace and even humor. Instructors: Sarah Bender, Sensei of the Springs Mountain Sangha, and David Gardiner of Colorado College. Cost: Suggested donation of $10. Location: Woman's Club.
