I am a live music fanatic. I think about it, search for it and thoroughly enjoy it. When given the opportunity I work in a group and create it. Live music has an energy and excitement that you just can't find in a DJ. Live music brings the chance to create something new and wonderful every time that it is played. Live music connects us to the musicians and singers that actually deliver the medium. Most of my friends are musicians and singers and I avidly follow my favorites. I like all mediums of music - Bluegrass, Funk , Rock, Reggae .... you get it ...so I wish to share all types of music with others like me who want to get it live as much as they can. With this group I will share my picks in every medium that I can for who is playing live and where it can be found. I'll cover every style and venue that I can with my "pick of the week". I'll provide links to websites and calendars so that we all can connect to our favorites. Hopefully some of you out there will join me at concerts, festivals, club shows, galas and open mic nights. I want your suggestions of the best places and groups (or solo acts) to catch too. Well we're off ... to find as much live music in our city as we can.
