Good posting and a relatively new view of the Morality of Religion arguments.

The question I always have is, "Whose version of morality is being used?" Morality, as non-believers define it, is secular in nature, social based and temporal in evolution. Believers would argue otherwise, that without religion there can be no morality. Sun Tzu's teachings are very important here: Know your enemy as well as you know yourself and you will not fear 1000 battles.

Many arguments from both sides are only a rehash of the old. The "battle" between who is right and who is wrong will continue, even within our own community. And theirs.

Atheists, skeptics, Humanists and other nonbelievers rarely question our own beliefs. We need to do this before we criticize those who believe something else.

That is true. If someone isn't willing to concede that my system of morality is valid, then they won't agree with conclusion on religion, or anything else for that matter. To that point, do you think the details of the moral system that are linked to in the post are valid?

Thanks for checking it out!
