The goal of the group is to advance our knowledge of A Course in Miracles as we embrace it as a path to enlightenment. We do this by diligent study, active and respectful discussion, and continuous application of the insights that we acquire.
This group is both a study and support group. The group acknowledges that each person has an Inner Teacher and encourages each person to seek that Teacher foremost, who will guide them in their remembering of their True Self and God.
The group holds the perspective that each person is both teacher and student in all encounters. We value the insights and personal experiences of others as an aid in our own understanding of the material and its application. We know that as the ideas from the Course are shared, they are strengthened.
We hold the perspective that the sole responsibility of a miracle worker is to accept the Atonement for themselves, yet without our brothers and sisters we cannot return to the full awareness of God.
Please join us even if you are new to the Course. It is written in a circular manner, not linear, so you can jump in at any time. We have both new and long-time students. We are all both teacher and student.
The Columbia Center for Spiritual Living Course in Miracles Study Group meets the 3rd Monday of every month from 7 to 9pm in Cindy Risser's home. Please call Cindy for the address and directions at [masked].
