Come join your fellow hikers - and leave the boots at home. No micro-spikes required. Beginner, moderate and advanced hikers and back-packers will all fare well tonight!
This is your monthly opportunity to commune with your comrades in hiking but without the boots and camel backs!
Come to Beachland Tavern for the monthly Connecticut Hiking Alliance Happy Hour on February 28 and enjoy fellowship, food and beverage.
Meet some of your fellow hikers... and if you haven't been out on the trails with us in the past, come meet up with us now so that you will be better acquainted when you finally do get out in the fresh air.
Beachland Tavern is very casual in nature. Come as you are, whether in work attire or in comfy clothes. You will find everything from appetizers, to main dishes to salads and sandwiches. Happy Hour runs until 6 pm... so come early if you are able. And if not come when you can!
Feel free to wear blue jeans and leave your micro-spikes at home! There is no hiking safe dress code requirement for this event.
