Anytime after 5:30 is fine... Perfect for the beginner, intermediate or extreme hiker! Dish is part diner, part sports bar. It's a very casual atmosphere. They also serve adult milkshakes and have an outdoor patio!
As with all Connecticut Hiking Alliance events... Please do not use the "no" rsvp function unless you need to cancel from a "yes". This is a standard preference for all Connecticut Hiking Alliance Meetups. Other Meetup groups may have a different preference.
Dish's happy hour begins early and runs well past my bed time. They have a fairly extensive happy menu... 17 apps from $3.75-$7.75 (with minimum 1 drink purchase). Most of the apps are pub grub and not too healthy - but interesting. A few choices are Pulled Pork Sliders (3); Buffalo Wings (12); Eggplant Fries; Hummus Platter (It's giant and I request veggies instead of pita); Spinach Dip 'n Chips: Pigs in a Blanket (12); etc...
Happy hour drink specials include draft pints $3.50; house wine $4.25 ; bud bottles $2.50; and some special Martini's, sangria and house cocktails are $6.50.
They will allow separate tabs. And if the weather is nice, enjoy their outdoor patio.
We will meet in the bar section.
