Rock City outing on Mt. Diablo

Our destination : Rocky City on Mt. Diablo, don't miss this fun day trip. Come with a sack lunch and we will spend some time exploring and climbing the wind carved rocks. It's will be a fun day, more details to come in the next few days.

OK here's how to get there. Get on Ygnacio Valley Road East. Take to Walnut ave and take a Right on walnut.
Turn R on Oak Grove and then a Left and North Gat Rd. Go up the mountain past the entrance station and at the junction with S. gate rd. Turn Right. Take Sounth gate rd approx 1.05 miles to Rock city. Park in the parking lot and lets meet near the end of the parking lot at between 10 and 10:30. We'll leave to go explore at 10:30. If your late just follow the paths and you'll find us playing on the rocks somewhere.

There is a $5 or $6 entrance fee to get into Mt Diablo St park. Dont' forget to pack drinks and a lunch for family.

If you would rather caravan, meet at Heather's house at 9:15am (yikes, I know that's early).
