Beginners photography workshop

During this fun outdoor “walkshop”, you’ll learn how to use your digital SLR camera in manual mode in just 4 hours and grasp the basics of digital photography, to compose better pictures while walking through one of the most vibrant and photogenic parts of London. You’ll also learn about your camera and how to use it properly, how to control the main elements that affect exposure (ISO, shutter speed and aperture) and easy techniques to compose stunning photographs. It’s a practical and dynamic workshop in a friendly environment that concentrates on improving your camera skills, with an emphasis on less jargon and more fun!

You will also learn:

  • Basic camera handling
  • About exposure – ISO, aperture and shutter speed
  • Depth of field and how to freeze/blur motion
  • Rules of composition

Equipment needed:
A digital SLR camera with a standard zoom lens or bridge camera with manual mode
