Many people are beginning to look out on the world as a place that is confusing and senseless. They feel disconnected from world events, possibly even from other people. Environmental collapse, homelessness, war, domestic violence, escalating rates of depression and anxiety...there is so much to fix.

We will read books and articles, listen to music, and analyze current events to discern trends and patterns that do a disservice to ourselves and to our culture as a whole. By understanding some of these patterns, we may begin to break free from making the same mistakes our predecessors made.

This group is for open-minded people who are looking for answers about how and why things came to be this way. Expect respectful and interesting discussion!
