Greetings Once Again CQ5 Enthusiasts,
Our October CQ5 Meetup will be held once again at the American Chemical Society in downtown DC on October 2nd from 5 pm to 8 pm. Pizza, snacks and beverages will be provided. Please check in at the security desk when arriving.
5 to 5:30 - Attendees Arrive - Eat Pizza, meet others that are using CQ5 and discuss your recent projects
5:30 - 6:15 - Presentation 1 - Automating CQ5 Deployments A brief look into how AARP went from a 6 hour/6 person deployment process, to a 17 minute "job" while implementing a more Continuous Integration-ish approach using open source tools such as Jenkins and Rundeck. Presented by Greg Spranger of Alexa Consulting.
6:15 to 7:00 - Presentation 2 - Using Twitter Bootstrap with CQ5 See how ACS has used Twitter Bootstrap, an open-source front-end framework, to provide flexible grid/templating structure with design components in CQ5 using Headwire's (www.headwire.com/) integration of Bootstrap into Adobe CQ. Representatives from The American Chemical Society will demonstrate a few scenarios where using Bootstrap within CQ is working for them.
7:00 to 7:30 - Adobe CQ5 Presentation - TBD tentatively scheduled presentation by an Adobe representative
7:30 to 8:00 - (Time Permitting) Questions and Open Discussion/Brainstorming - Ask the presenters and attending Adobe reps questions along with an open mike for attendees to ask questions to the entire group.
We hope you can make it!
