Busboys and Poets (map)

Selected By: Monika

Do you love to travel? Are you enchanted by pristine coastlines, colorful sunsets, and magnificent redwoods? Or fascinated by cultural heritage and local traditions? Would you like to ensure that these resources remain available to future generations? Then join The DC Green Connection and Sustainable Travel International (STI) for this months speaker event!

Our guest speaker is Chris Seek, board member of Sustainable Travel International and President of Solimar International. Chris will guide us through today's growing tourism landscape and help you discover ways that YOU can become part of the solution through the travel choices you make, whether for business or pleasure.

The program will be followed by a networking reception and information about STI's green travel auction. You can go online now to check out some of their great eco-travel specials. Auction closes Oct. 30. All proceeds go to benefit STI's mission to promote responsible travel and ecotourism, support sustainable development, and help travelers and travel providers protect what's best about the destinations we visit. Be sure to bring your holiday travel calendars and book some great getaways for New Year's!
