Do you have any experience with HDR photography?

Yes, started with my Canon 7D and merging photos using Corel Paintshop Pro. I've since upgraded to the 5D Mark III, that makes HDR photography as easy as pressing the shutter button. I'm sure there is a lot more that I can learn about HDR and between that and a suggestion from a friend who is also a member . . . here I am!

Why do you want to join this meetup?

It was suggested by a friend and an already existing member that I check this group out. I would love to expand my HDR knowledge as well as my general photography skills. I enjoy the HDR affect and the impact it can have on a rather normal looking photo. I want to meet new people that share my same interest and get out to some of the many exciting locations that our area offers with other people.

How much photography experience do you have?

I have roughly about 2 years experience.

Do you know of any locations that would be good for HDR photography?

I'm sure it's been suggested and probably even done - Great Falls Park, Fort Ward Park, Manassas National Battlefield Park (various locations - The Stone Bridge, The Stone House, etc), Downtown Leesburg, Va., Washington National Harbor

I have always enjoyed photography since my first Canon Rebel SLR back in the late 90's. Jumped in with both feet into the DSLR age about 2 years ago and haven't looked back - always forward - through my viewfinder!
