Dear Amazing Owners,

Join us for a Mexican brunch on Sunday, the 20th at 11 am. We're going to slow down and enjoy!

Our next "getting you fearless" topic is: slowing it down. How does slowing it down help you to get fearless? When you slow down, you begin to relax and bring your greatest level of focus to what is in front of you. It is a practice that, if done regularly, can lead to awesome results for you in your lives.

A little essay on the topic of slowing it down and Steve's coaching...

In kindergarten, I was taught to take my time. By the time I was in first grade, my teachers and family members were teaching me to hurry up, and while they were rewarding speed and accuracy, they inadvertently devalued stepping back, taking in the whole picture, getting creative, bringing high quality into a task, and allowing oneself to think deeply.

As life marched on, I realized that the earliest lessons of my youngest years could actually lead to better results for me, not just in my work tasks, but in my relationships and my career.

At about that same time, I met my coach Steve Chandler. In our very first meeting, he wisely said, "Let's slow this down," and in-so-doing, he helped me to rediscover my own clarity. Over time, he would get fancier and say, "Let's slow this down to the speed of life," and humorously remind me that there was no rush. Everything I wanted to create would have it's season. Just till the soil, plant the seeds, water, weed, and breathe.

Steve's coaching has taught me that slowing it down is a valuable portal of entry into your fearless self. And so often for me, it is my fearless self that creates success. So, as a 48-year-old psychologist and life coach, I regularly remind myself (and my clients) to slow it down. In that head space, we actually take the time to think--instead of just reacting. We get creative, and we have more fun coming up with strategic action plans toward their success.

You might think, "What can I slow down?" You can slow it ALL down. Starting with your thinking. Then your breathing. Then your actions and your words.

What if you don't slow down? You rush, you're busy, and your activity is frenetic. You are doing, but you're producing nothing. This is also how you know when you might benefit from slowing down!

Steve says, "You're like a fly banging into a windshield, trying to fly into it's own future."

If you'd like to be supported in becoming more fearless, let's talk about YOUR LIFE, YOUR GOALS, AND YOUR JOURNEY!

RSVP now to our group masterminding!

Warmly,

Dr. Pam Garcy
