More REBT/CBT Demonstration: Rejection

Dear meetup members,

This meetup is designed to demonstrate REBT and CBT in action!

Please let me know if you'd like to serve as a volunteer.

I would like to have 1-2 volunteers and 1 backup volunteer.

Volunteering allows instant shame attacking.

It allows you to have a chance to see how REBT and CBT can be applied to your real word problem.

It gives you a chance to work with me.

It grants you complimentary admission to the meetup.

So, please let me know asap if you want to volunteer.

Dr. Pam

My wife will be with me and would like to volunteer.

Thanks, Terry. I will put her as our third person and our back-up person. We have two people who volunteered, Pat and Allison. However, if one of them doesn't make it or if we just happen to go through quickly, I would love to help your wife too. Thank you kindly, Dr. Pam

Okay, looks like Allison is out, so your wife is on! Please have her take a look at the discussion page that says "required reading for volunteers." These are just guidelines to make it easier for her. Please thank her for me! Dr. Pam Garcy

Hi--to those who are volunteering, please take a look at the "required reading for volunteers" under the "Discussions" tab on our page. Here is the link also, and you need to log in to see it:

    Pam

I want to learn more about using CBT in daily life to improve my communication skills. I would gravitate to the 1st group to learn how to communicate better in general. Thanks

Thanks for this information. Are you wanting to volunteer, or were you just telling me of your interests, Ben?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
