Teleseminar: "What to do About Boredom & Loneliness"

  • December 7, 2013 · 3:00 PM

I had to reschedule our physical meetup due to the inclement weather. However, if some of you are at home staying safe, I want to offer you something at no charge that might also help you during this time of year.

Recently, I've had more than one client tell me that they have trouble tolerating boredom. It occured to me that Albert Ellis had very specific things to say about this. Specifically, he talked about fostering a vital absorbing interest.

In addition, I've had other clients who feel challenged by loneliness. There are also specific things you can say to yourself & do related to this.

Both of these can be triggers for other behaviors & sometimes the behaviors are not the best ones. If you or someone you know has either of these as a challenge (you get bored or lonely so you do something that doesn't serve you), then this teleseminar could be of value to you.

Since this is of short notice, I will conduct it if I have at least 5 "yes" RSVP's.

To attend, you simply call into[masked] & enter 6458#. I will be on the call at 3 IF we have at least 5 RSVP's.

Thanks for giving your RSVP now!

Stay warm & safe,

Excellent information. Dr. Pam shared research which correlates mental and physical health with loneliness which is very helpful for me and my clients. I would love to be part of your research on healthy people who prefer solitude!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
