Seminar 1 : The Economics / Monetization of Analytics Products (12/3)


The following is a list of the topics that Tom, Sam and Raj will cover. (Please feel free to contribute and add to these questions in your acceptance and we'll have a better seminar as a result!)

a. What is the revenue / sales model and how did they arrive at this approach?

b. What do successful Analytic products have in common?

c. What are the key differences between building Analytic products vs non-analytics products?

d. Are analytics companies typically focused within a vertical or are they cross verticals? If they are cross verticals what challenges or special considerations does this merit?

e. What are the biggest challenges analytic companies face between idea, business model creation to the go-to-market phase?
