Author Talk: 1,000 Places to See Before You Die - Patricia Schultz

Serendipitously, here's THE event to epitomize this group's loftier goals, IMHO.  A NY Times bestseller's firsthand talk about global (and in this lecture especially European) must-experience places?  Pretty much perfect.  It's a Sunday afternoon, I don't usually plan afternoon events in prior experience so let's see how this goes - maybe even get coffee or drinks after to discuss?

Here is part of their description:

Patricia Schultz - Decatur Library Auditorium February 16th , 2:00 p.m.  -  The #1 international bestselling books 1,000 Places To See Before You Die and 1,000 Places To See in the United States And Canada Before You Die, now in full color editions, are the phenomenally successful travel books designed for the traveler who wants to experience the world, but not necessarily break the bank. At this event Ms. Schultz will present a special program on European travel. Culled from a lifetime of traveling around the world, Patricia’s list of favorites is a thousand places long. But she has created a special Europe presentation, selecting just a few dozen of her favorite European locations featured in her first best seller 1000 Places To See Before You Die. Regaling us with information and anecdotes about destinations both well-known and off the radar, Patricia promises to add to your Bucket List and refuel your wander lust.
