Hey Kevin,

I will need to drop out of the programming class.  Life has taken more of a busy turn than I had expected.  Thanks for putting this class on.  I enjoyed what I did attend.  This sort of stuff is what makes this LUG great.

Sorry I was a bit late putting up the Week 4 stuff, my step-daughter had her baby Sunday morning, and I just did not have time to finish this until now.

For this week, we will be taking a bit of a departure from our normal format.  There will be no slides.  Please be ready and insure that you machine can compile and link code, and if you want to use an IDE that it is installed and working.  We will be fully in the editor/command line the entire class this week.  No lecture per-se.

To insure you are working correctly, here is a hello.c program:

#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>

int main(int argc, char *argv[]) {
print("Hello World!!!\n");

You should be able to compile this with:

$ gcc -o hello hello.c

and get a program named hello, and it should run.

See you all Saturday
