In response to your desire to fill your open Junior System Administrator position, I have attached a resume for your review. Please consider this letter as my formal application.
I have superior communication skills, provide an excellent experience in a technical environment and I work well with others. I believe I would excel in this position because I truly find the technical field to be a challenging and rewarding career choice; I possess an astute ability to apply my existing knowledge and learn any skills necessary to enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done.
May I arrange an interview to further discuss my candidacy for employment? I am available for an interview at a mutually convenient time.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
I just received a potential job listing for a Junior Un*x sysadmin. If any
body is intersested, you may send you resume to [address removed]
I am looking for a junior sysadmin. You must be able to get around on a
unix command line and vi. Experience with network security, application
security, Mac Desktop, Datacenter Infrastructure, HP Blade Servers and
SANs all a plus. In addition to regular sysadmin duties one of my existing
employee's needs transportation and a minder* so I would need you to do that
too. This is an entry level position but you can get up to seven 10% raises
(this will nearly double your initial salary) by meeting development
milestones. If you are interested please send me your resume.
