I am SO excited about our April meetup which has been in the works for several months. Dr. Blaich, who is widely regarded as one of the foremost holistic health care experts in the world, is joining us in April.
Dr. Blaich is a huge reason I made it to the summit of Aconcagua so easily! He uses a unique approach which I love and makes so much sense to me. He looks at the body as an entire which is exactly how care should be given.
In April, Dr. Blaich will be talking about our Inner Pharmacy. We all have a Powerful Pharmacy within our own body….which means that we have enormous potential to create improved health, performance and longevity. However, a lack of awareness of the Pharmacy Within causes most people’s bodies to produce too many bad chemicals, ones that create pain, illness and disease.
Trust me when I say you will not want to miss our April meetup! It could change your life.
More about Dr. Blaich below! See you all in April!
About Dr. Robert Blaich: Although Dr. Blaich treats people with a wide range of symptoms, his expertise goes far beyond fixing specific problems and even beyond prevention. His focus is on restoring and optimizing health. When our bodies are functioning properly, our inner pharmacy produces all the chemicals necessary to support maximal physical and emotional well-being and healthy aging. Dr. Blaich addresses many ways in which this built-in system of health malfunctions, and supports the body in recovering from traditional medical interventions when they are necessary.
Most of us are so used to our bodies functioning in a compromised way that we’ve forgotten what real health feels like. For example, sprained ankles are extremely common and when the pain goes away we may think all is well. However, if the injured muscles don’t get turned back on, the result can be a lifetime of malfunction that causes knees and hips to wear out prematurely. Or, many of us have had major or minor head injuries, including birth trauma. This can cause subtle but correctable misalignments of the cranial bones that can result in a wide variety of symptoms, including learning disorders, migraines, hormonal and neurologic disorders, depression and dementia. A third-example is physical or emotional trauma that impairs the inner pharmacy’s ability to produce normal levels of hormones and signaling chemicals called neurotransmitters, resulting in a wide range of symptoms such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, fatigue, poor concentration, even leading to substance abuse. A final example is allergic reactions, often to common foods, which trigger ongoing inflammation anywhere in the body, depending on one’s genes. Identifying the offending the foods and restoring the normal function of the digestive and immune systems allows for enormous improvements in health. These are only a few of the conditions that Dr. Blaich commonly treats.
In addition to his BA, BS, and DC (Doctor of Chiropractic-1977) degrees, Dr. Blaich has earned four distinguished post-graduate Diplomate titles: Diplomate of the International College of Applied Kinesiology (DIBAK-1980), Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management (DAAPM-1992), Diplomate of the College of Clinical Nutrition of the American Association of Integrative Medicine (DAAIM-2010), Diplomate of the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition of the American Chiropractic Association (DCBCN-2010).
