Brie Cheese covered in carmelized apples with brown sugar and walnuts, pesto made from scratch with walnuts, or loaded mashed potatoes (guilty pleasure)
Italian, hands down. I am obsessed with the wine, the pasta, the sauces, everything. I also recently went on a trip to Peru and the cuisine was amazing. That would have to be my second.
One of my favorite restaurants in Des Moines is the Cheese Shop right off of 42nd. I go there with my friends all the time for a glass or wine or cider, half meat half cheese plate (different meats and cheeses everyday), and ciabatta from La Mie with olive oil. The food is great, the people are great, and the ambiance is fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend it.
Hello everyone, my name is Lindsey and I am a young foodie with a growing palette. Some of my favorites are fine cheeses, prosciutto, ciabatta, olives, and anything Italian or Mediterranean, but am looking to widen my food experiences.
