Appreciate you attending. Unfortunately, nutrition and wellness is a huge topic as you know :) and can take days to discuss all different components, etc. We are grateful for him coming to Des Moines to share just a small component of his knowledge and what he personally does in his own life. I recommend his books for further details. PrimeTime Health discusses many of items you have listed below. Hope you have a great day and enjoy the warm weekend!

I did want to ask him questions, but I could have had a dialogue with him for quite some time. Surprised there was no mention of eggs, especially yolks as superfoods, no discernment over nutritional benefits of grassfed meats vs. factory farmed grainfed (especially in the Midwest where it is far more available than fish), wild caught fish vs. inferior farm raised, current research toppling old data that shows saturated animal fats are not correlated with heart disease (meat bashing), quantity of carbohydrates including whole grains raising blood sugar levels and causing inflammation. No mention of butter and traditional cooking fats our ancestors used and did not develop chronic disease when eating. He talked about making fats a more important part of our diet, but only discussed fish and avocado, hardly enough to fulfill this necessary macronutrient in the average Iowan's diet.

Oh, I did enjoy most of the talk. Just surprised that the talk was sponsored by a supplement company we had never heard of and he obviously was there to promote.

Sorry to hear that you were disappointed Anne. Dr. Sears only spoke for approx 10-12 minutes on Juice Plus out of a 90+ minute talk. He was available after the talk and was speaking one on one with many of the attendees about all types of health questions. Appreciate you coming.

Disappointed, as I had no idea this was about marketing a line of supplements. No Q & A allowed. There were several questions I would have like to ask. Left early when he started pushing the Juice Plus stuff non-stop.
