Earth Day Highway Cleanup

Ocean First Divers believes that in order to enact change in our industry, we have to be leaders, whether it's in ocean conservation, green building initiatives or creating innovative new programs at the local, state and national levels. As part of our Green Initiatives program, we have adopted a stretch of highway along the Diagonal Highway between Boulder and Longmont. To celebrate Earth Day, we're going to be performing our annual cleanup of our little piece of home. All participants who pre-register at Ocean First Divers will receive $10 worth of Scuba Bucks as our way of saying "thanks!" for helping.

Hey folks. We have a size 11 or 11.5 pair of men's hiking boots that we think were left behind. Call OFD at[masked] to claim them!

We had an excellent turnout for this year's cleanup! Over the course of a few short hours we managed to pick up 45 bags with an estimated 800 lbs of trash! Thanks to everyone who joined us.

Sorry I can't make it this year. I've got an extrication training at the squad. Hope it goes well and that you have a big turnout.

Thank you for doing this - I was really wanting to do something for Earth Day, but didn't know what it would be. Are we meeting at Ocean First Divers at 9:00 a.m. and should we bring anything?
