There are many of us who are hiking on their favorite trails with their dogs and both are enjoying the ambiance of the environment. It would be great to share these experience with others. This will be a social network for their owners and dogs. Many folks have tried to take their dogs on organized hikes and found that dogs are not welcomed or not permitted which is understandable in some cases. Therefore, this site is specifically earmarked for those individuals who like to take their dogs on hikes or walk trails and would like to share their experience with others with similar interest. We will be scheduling select hikes up to the White Mountain where there are many dog friendly mountains and trails. There will be other events to state parks, carriage roads, historic bridle paths and footpaths. Often they will a combination which will not be as strenuous as the mountain hikes. We will also go hiking and walks in Maine and Vermont. To determine whether a route is appropriate for the owner and their dog, we will try rate the difficulty on a scale of 1 - 4. As this site matures, we will add members' favorite places to visit with directions. The success of this site is to obtain everyone's ideas and thoughts so that we can always bring the best ideas to reality. We will also develop trail etiquettes so that we all are aware of them and will be posted on this site. The ultimate objective is to have fun and that both master and their dog has had a good outing with a group of friends with similar interest
