PEOPLE'S CHOIR!! in Beacon

Come join us as we start our new season with The People's Choir of Beacon. Run through the Beacon Music Factory and directed by Cat Guthrie, The People's Choir is a non traditional community choir. Not your Grandma's church choir!! We sing uplifting and fun songs from many traditions and cultures, and sometimes some "old chestnuts" from the pop/rock world. No need to audition, all are welcome. No need to read music.

We have a great group of singers and put on a concert for family friends and community members at the end of our sessions. We invite the audience to sing along with us on certain songs, so it truly is a community event.

There is still time to join, if you are willing to play "catch-up"!

wow! I didn't know you had a Beacon location. Is it too late to come and check out the choir since you started meeting in January???

Hi. I am unsure if I should plan to attend Wed's meeting since your group has been practicing for quite sometime. Any feedback is appreciated.

Yes, we have a few songs learned. I do not think it is too late, though. You will have some catching up to do, but it is a very friendly, open group, and we have two new members from just last week as well, so you will not be alone.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
