Being a 35+ expat in Dubai is lonely stuff. You are too young to join the 50+ group and even though you feel 18 in your mind, feel old to join the singles and avid clubbing meet ups and engage in mindless chatter.

We would like to pull together a group of like minded people over 35 who would prefer to socialise in relatively quiet locations including peoples homes where conversations can flow and people can establish connections and friendships beyond mere acquaintances.

Requirements:

Age - Clearly the objective is to get like minded people together. Some of you could be younger than 35 but the objectives may resonate. It they do then please ask to join.

I caveat that while membership is open to everyone we WILL filter applications to ensure that it is a balanced group in terms of backgrounds, education, culture, interests and gender. We have a long waiting list and so have asked some difficult questions. Please try and answer them thoughtfully. Humour and wit will get you to the front of the line as will sincerity. Perfunctory responses will almost always guarantee a decline.

Further if you are accepted we expect you to be active. If you are not an active member (at least viewed the page every month) then we will remove you. You can always reapply if you are keen!!
