Frenglish French English Language Exchange

  • May 13, 2013 · 6:30 PM

Frenglish is a French/English language exchange starting at 6.30pm every Monday in D-two on Harcourt Street. Set up like 'speed dating', you are assigned a table number on arrival, opposite a native french or english speaker depending on your native language. You will speak English for 5 minutes and French for 5 minutes and then move on to the next table. It is a great way to improve your language in an organised and easy going manner. It is also great for networking and meeting new people. The cost is €5 to participate which includes free food. Each week there are specials offers at the bar. The exchange caters for all levels, whether you have just started or are fluent you can benefit.

I am not a native speaker of English, is this a problem? I might not be able to stay for the whole 2 hours, can I arrive late or leave earlier?

Hi Maria, that is no problem at all. If you can have a conversation in English with a native French speaker that is fine. You need to be there before 7 o clock at the latest. You can leave early if you like but we ask people to stay in order to keep the balance for the exchange. Cheers, Brian

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
