For our last Meet-up of the year, we'll be reading the Popol Vuh, the Mayan creation myth. I have never read it before, but it looks like this translation might be a good choice (if others have other recommendations for a translation and/or secondary sources, post them below): http://www.amazon.com/Popol-Vuh-Definitive-Mayan-Glories/dp/0684818450
Our next three meet-ups for the year will be poetry by William Butler Yeats, short stories by Philip K. Dick, and the Popol Vuh creation myth. Next January we are reading Swann's Way by Marcel Proust, and around May we will do Neil Gaiman's Sandman. The dates in between have yet to be scheduled!
