Photo walks are a great way to explore the city and to meet like minded people.
This time let’s go to the NSDM Wharf area, in there area there are plenty of interesting landscape, objects and activities to photograph. Everything you would expect to find in an industrial wharf area including a large warehouse that should be open (and safe). We'll got for a walk to the east first and then call by a handy café nearby if we need to warm up with a hot chocolate, then if we are all still keen we can head out west to the dry docks and take a look around there.
This is similar to the Photowalk that John Erik Setsaas organised before Christmas, but due to it being on a Friday not every body could make it. So I thought I would run it again.
Meeting Location: Let's meet at the back of the Central Station, where the ferry to the NDSM-Werf departs, and take the free ferry over. Here is the exact location out the back of the Centraal Station. http://goo.gl/maps/XTMzL
Meeting Time: We'll meet at 12:30 and take the 12:45 ferry over.
Weather: I’ll make a call the day before if the weather forecast is terrible to cancel it for another day. But a little bit of drizzle shouldn’t stop us though and can change the light in interesting ways. If the forecast is for cold (quite likely) remember to dress up warm.
See you all soon,
