Darcy,
Jillian's Pot Luck is on Mac Call street.  If people try to map McCall they will be out of luck.
Mac Call is 1 block West of Shattuck and the house is on the corner of 58th. St.
See you Sunday!

Subject: [rawfood-550] UPDATE on Kevin and AnnMarie on Sunday!

Bring your questions for Kevin and Annmarie! They have interviewed many luminaries in the raw food community and are always wanting to know more-
Want to know about where raw fooders can get their B-12?
or Where to get chlorella that doesn't have soy lecithin in it?
Chances are they'll know!
(also if you'd like to volunteer for this meetup and come for free- contact me by replying to this e-mail- I may need a couple of people)
UPDATE- we've had a slight change to this meetup. Instead of having Raw Daddy serve his famous cones, we'll be having Jillian Love's pizza. Jillian makes wonderful pizza and I'm glad she'll be coming back as I've heard people mention how much they loved it.
We'll have food from 2-2:45 p.m. or so and then start the talk.
Here's Jillian's Menu:
Menu for Sunday:
Special Two Pizzettes and Salad $15
 Global Fusion Pizzette: $6 each
  •  Garden Chive Lemon Sunflower Pate
  •  Mango Chuttney and chipotle Cream Sauce on Caraway Brazil Nut Crusts
  •  Spinach Avocado Pesto Cashew Creme Fresh and Honey BBQ Crimini Mushrooms
on Caraway Brazil Nut Crusts
  Salad: $6
  •  Spicy Arugula Salad with Creamy Orange Cider  Dressing and sesame sprinkles
  Sweets: $3
  •  Cherry Berry Blast Ice Cream
  • SynchroNutritional Superfood Chai Ice Cream
  • Raw Chocolate Truffle
 Hot Tea: $3
  • Assorted Varieties
Jillian is having a raw potluck which will happen after this meetup and invites everyone to attend.
See the details at the end of this e-mail
And Here's The Meetup!
RSVP for this meetup here
As many of you know after traveling around in their Kale Whale (their bio-fuel powered RV), meeting rawfood chefs and enthusiasts all over the country, and interviewing an amazing array of rawfood luminaries, Kevin and Annmarie Gianni have settled in our area! They are excited to meet our community. So they invite us all to come do just that.
Bring your Questions, and we’ll do a casual Q & A. It will be fun to see where the discussions take us. They are in one of the best positions to answer a wide array of questions about the rawfood diet. They are always curious and looking for answers themselves. Kevin has picked the brains of Gabriel Cousens multiple times as well as David Wolfe, Dr. Alan Goldhamer, to name just a few. They have coached people to help them lose weight and to solve other problems related to diet.
It’s $7 which will cover the venue fee, and which is waived for those who have bought memberships- ($25 waives all venue fees- now through February- and get a Hippocrates Institute laminated brochure on an aspect of the Rawfood Lifestyle – worth $9 and Kaia pumpkin seeds)
It should be informative and fun- and I hope they get to meet a great many of us!

About Kevin
Kevin Gianni is a health advocate, author, and interviewer whose programs and online seminars have helped thosands of people from over 21 countries learn more and improve their health. His expertise includes exercise, energy techniques, nutrition, paradigm shifting and stress relief.
Kevin is the founder and host of The Renegade Health Show, a fun and informative daily health show that is changing the perception of health across the world.; the author of High Raw: A Simple Approach to Health, Eating and Saving the Planet; and the creator and co-author of The Busy Person’s Fitness Solution, the optimal wellness system that helps busy people reach optimal health using only three to four hours of their precious time a week. He is also the co-founder of HealthBookSummaries.com, which he created with business partner Mike Adams, and the creator of the widely viewed “Rawkathon” interview series, which includes interviews with leading experts in the raw foods movement.
Kevin got his start in graduate school researching holistic modalities at Western Connecticut State University. While doing so, he learned many different non-traditional approaches to solve very traditional fitness and health problems. Since then, he has been studying and putting those techniques and philosophies into practice through one-on-one and group sessions.
His techniques are embraced by busy people because they are simple, easy-to-use, and guaranteed to get results in just a few days. He uses a simple, “take action” approach to fitness that is welcomed by many
who’ve been duped by the gadgets, magazine articles, and flavor-of-the-month scientific studies.
Kevin is responsible for helping thousands and thousands of people around the world reach a level of health and fitness they never thought was possible. He is often times quoted as promising “maximum results in the
minimum amount of time...guaranteed!”
He has been quoted and interviewed by many national publications including: WebMD, Ediets, Cooking Light, Woman’s World, Skiing Magazine, Today’s Diet and Nutrition, The Orlando Sentinel, The Chicago Daily Herald, San Antonio Express-News, Albany Times Union, STL Today, The Kansas City Star, My Family Doctor, and NBC 30. He’s also interviewed many of today’s top health and wellness experts, including Dr. Mark
Hyman, Mike Adams, Bob Doyle, David Wolfe, Dr. Michael Breus, Victoria Boutenko, Danny
Dreyer, Marion Nestle, and dozens more.

About Annmarie
Annmarie has been involved in athletics and healthy living since childhood. She received
her Sports Medicine Degree from East Carolina University, where she had the privilege of
working with top Division 1 college athletes (including David Garrard, now quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars) as well as the opportunity to learn, directly on and off the field, from many doctors, physical therapists, and sports nutritionists. After completing her degree, Annmarie furthered her education, studying Eastern ways at The Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy. There, she was introduced to alternative approaches to every day health, fitness and nutritional needs. Annmarie continually teaches others optimal health by being her own testimonial, always learning and growing. She puts the techniques and philosophies that she has learned into practice through one-on-one and group fitness sessions.
Annmarie and her husband Kevin are the founders of RHTV, a multi-media production company that strives to educate the public about true health and wellness and to empower people to take action in improving their own lives and the communities in which they live. Together they host The Renegade Health Show, the first segment ever created by RHTV, and to-date the most popular. It’s a daily program that “changes the health of the world, one show at a time!” Each Wednesday during the show, you can see Annmarie “cooking” up something in the kitchen.
She and Kevin are the co-authors of The Busy Person’s Fitness Solution, the optimal wellness system that helps busy people reach optimal health using only three to four hours of their precious time a week.
When she’s not being a business woman, training others, or hosting her weekly internet show, Annmarie enjoys traveling, being outside, and preparing healthy meals. She loves to hike and run in the woods, and on occasion, you can also find her on her mountain bike. Annmarie recently traveled the country in a ‘green’ Rv with her husband, soul mate, and life and business partner, Kevin Gianni, exploring the culture of natural health in America. (Their cat, Jonny 5, was along for the ride, too!)
