I want to pass onto you Raw Daddy's words to encourage you to come to his special Thanksgiving event a week before Thanksgiving. It will take place Thursday, 11/15 at 6 p.m. at Finnish Hall 1970 Chestnut St. Berkeley. Join in celebrating Raw Daddy's delicious gourmet raw food feast with our community.
Heather Haxo Phillips will be joining us as well. WE want to make it festive and delightful and so here are Raw Daddy's thoughts about why you should come.
Also- before I give you these- keep in mind you have until tomorrow at midnight to sign up as he needs to prepare the food in advance. And also keep in mind when you sign up that if you want a full dinner
please pay $10 more than the stipulated $22 for the event. Those who want a demo portion of each item demo'd pay $22. (there has been some confusion around this)
Here's his message:
The Holiday season is upon us, and with it comes what I like to call the dreaded "FFF": Forced Family Fun. You know what I'm talking about. The prolonged mingling, the hugs from your heavily perfumed aunts, slightly awkward jokes, and those notorious conversations with Uncle Bob from Michigan. "No Uncle Bob, a corn dog isn't a vegetable!"
It happens every year. But, somehow the true essence of Thanksgiving has gotten lost amongst it all. As much as the standard American may like to think it is, Thanksgiving isn't about carving a bird, consuming your body weight in powdered potatoes, or tuning out your wife while you watch the big football game. Thanksgiving is truly about coming together, celebrating one another, and expressing our gratitude for the nourishment and blessings that we possess. So this Thanksgiving, why not celebrate it by learning to create and celebrate food in its authentic form, and thank your irreplaceable body with an ucompromised, nutrient-dense meal? Both your body and your tastebuds will be grateful.
Join me for a feast with like-minded individuals. On November 15th, we'll have a dinner party that will include savory entrees, sweet sides, and a decadent dessert, sans the belly ache, notorious food coma and the guilt. During the pre-dinner demo, you'll learn how to nourish your Thanksgiving guests, and you'll discover a few tips and tricks that may turn Uncle Bob around. He might just realize that there's life beyond cheese steak sandwiches.

We have got a very exciting November meetup planned featuring the one and only RawDaddy. He will be demoing a thanksgiving dinner that promises to kickstart your thanksgiving with plenty of gratitude. What’s more, there’s an October Surprise that I hope everyone will be part of. He’s kickstarting a campaign to raise enough money to open a RAWDADDY's. A Fast Food Organic Vegan Raw restaurant in the bay area. He has a beautiful video that introduces who he is, why people love his cones, and gives you an idea of what he envisions. He is asking for what ever you can afford, be it $1-$10,000.00 to make this dream a reality for us all. There are great gifts with your donations. People love his food whether they are omnivores or raw vegans and that’s exactly why this food should be more readily available on an ongoing basis. So I’m really hoping we give him the boost he needs and we can all celebrate on November 15th.
He only has a limited time to make this happen. If you can't afford a donation then spread the word. This needs to viral in order to succeed.

If you haven’t tried his food- you have got to hear some of the buzz about it:
“RawDaddy’s food combinations make me feel like I’ve left earth completely and wound up in a REAL raw food heaven.”
At his last demo: "RawDaddy's excellent creations were "dialed-in" and off the hook! I really enjoyed the great food, met some very nice and interesting people, and learned a lot - what more could you ask for?"
The demo dinner will be
RawDaddy put’s his gourmet touch on this traditional dinner.
This meetup is $22, which includes the venue fee. For those who have purchased meetup memberships the cost is $17* (for more about meetup memberships see below)

The act of preparing vegetables is an especially life giving exercise, primarily because it leads to serving and eating foods that are good for you. But we don't think of vegetable cuisine, vegetarian, vegan, raw food, in terms of health food, alternative food, or spa food. As a result, we do not create vegetable dishes based on nutritional values. We believe that such things fall into place naturally.
If one pursues flavor first and foremost, and works with extraordinarily fresh seasonal foodstuffs, organic whenever possible, then one is surely going to eat healthfully. We prefer to get good health as a byproduct of eating wonderful, tasty, sensual foods, which nourish the soul and spirit as well as the body.
