The Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD) sponsors free admission to various activities, events, and attractions every year during RADical Days. I told myself I was going to take advantage of some of these but haven't yet, and the last event is fast approaching!
Come join me in seeing the thousands of wild animals that represent every continent. I'm super excited to see the newest members of the zoo family: a toddler gorilla, and (my personal favorite!), a 6-month old tiger cub named Paval. :-D
And if the animals aren't enticing enough, there will also be performances!
Pittsburgh CLO Mini-Stars - noon
Bulgarian dance troupe Otets Paissii - 1 pm
Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras - 3 pm
It should be a fun day - can't wait to see you there!
I haven't been in the area for a while - if there is still construction on Rte 8/Butler Street, west of the Highland park Bridge, there may be traffic delays.
