Freelancer Project Day - does the working week or weekend suite you better?

I hope to hold the project day which I mentioned a while back sometime in mid-to-late June. In case you missed it: http://bit.ly/aHX4P7 . At this stage I am keen to know whether those who are interested in participating have any preference of whether it is held during the week or on the weekend.

Should I cancel the May 6th Meetup in favour of another event ?

There is a talk about 'Improving Website Usability Using Google Website Optimiser', which I think would be valuable to all... so I wanted to open up the possibility of attending that instead of our meetup. Venue: Scottish Enterprise, Apex House, 99 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5HD Time: Wed 6th May, 18:30 Cost: £10 to non-members Description: '...Design is very subjective, one man’s meat is another man’s poison. A website may look ‘pretty’ in your opinion, but design is not just about how something looks... it needs to be usable. If your design is not ... making you money, it doesn’t matter if it looks nice...” ...By measuring which page layout is more effective at achieving the desired conversion we can... determine which design is best... One image or line of copy may mean the difference between being profitable or not. We’ll be using lots of case studies to show you how we’ve started using Google Website Optimizer to run A/B Split and Multivariate Tests... '

What would YOU like to do at our next meet-up?

Rate each option 1 - 10. The option with the highest rating, one week before our next meet-up, will be put forward as our main topic / activity. If you have anymore suggestions, please email me and I'll add them to the list.
