Probably my interest in the french language.
Loire valley, burgundy and of course champagne regions of France.
Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Petite Syrah and a great Pinot Noir are all my favs.
A south African Voigner and an Australian Shiraz.
Meeting fun and likeminded people who want to try a variety of wines and the cuisines that make them great.
Wine and food pairing is amazing! I've come a long way to my knowledge of and enjoyment of all that is wine. Studying French for six years may have had something to do with it.
