Hi,
the topic of live blood cell analysis came up at Paul Nison's talk. I was wondering if anyone could explain this more clearly as I found it confusing what he was saying. To get one done, do you just go to a pathology centre and get blood drawn? Then what tests do you request? Then do you find a doctor/practitioner who can read those results? He spoke of a website caprofile.com Do you send your test results to them to get analyzed or do you send your blood sample to them and they do the tests? I went to the website and it was just as confusing??? Thanks Simone |

Hi Simone,
Testing the blood is the only way to know what state our bodies are in physiologically. The idea is not to detect disease in the body (though this is a positive side effect of the testing) but instead to establish a base line from where you can monitor what state the body is headed for. Paul Nison mentioned CAProfile.com as a possible avenue for people to get their blood tested. You can request the test you want run from them directly(their contact number is on their website). They will have their doctor write the script, then send you the order with instructions on how to mail it back. You take to your local blood drawing center (they suggest Labcorp), the blood is drawn and is sent by you overnight to CAProfile.com's address with payment, where it is tested and the results sent to you. They will give you supplement advise. A second option is to find a practitioner that can help you to decide what type of testing should be done and what direction the results should take you in. Health insurances will not pay for extensive blood testing for diseases that may or may not be present without symptoms that indicate disease is present. In otherwords, you must already be sick. Businesses like CAProfile and SBN (Science Based Nutrition) have developed programs that analyze the results of the blood and give suggestions of what supplements should be taken to balance the physiology of the body. Of course you know that this thinking is progressive but flawed in the belief that substituting one pill for another type of pill is the answer. If you would like to talk further about the tests that are run or how the results can be used for your benefit. I am usually at Lissa's Raw Food Meetup. I'll be the approachable person emphatically pushing the food. Or you can contact me at my office for a nutritional consultation 817-595-9206. Dr. Scott Sieja |
