Dry Creek is an excellent unique place to bring your gear. This event is sponsored by Johnson PhotoImaging.
"A "western town" is right in our own backyard and it's an exciting place for photography. It's called Dry Creek and we will be having another adventure workshop featuring a different theme in every visit! Dry Creek has so much to offer with its rustic western look and it offers backdrops for one-of-a-kind action and scenic photography. Instructor Angel Navarro of Angel Navarro Photography will be on hand to provide guidance and tips for all attendees. Don't miss this opportunity for education and photography as unique as the old town called Dry Creek."
There is a $69 fee for this workshop. Dry Creek is a closed TV set nestled in Manatee County and not open to the public. Johnson PhotoImaging has made arrangements with owner and producer of Dry Creek for themed photo events.

I did one a few months ago and it was a blast. It was well worth it. There were about 10 folks who came out with me. The only other way to get access to this location is by invitation only.
