How about a Little Off Road Biking ??

Not sure if anyone wants to try some Off Road Riding, so let me see if there is any interest.

I have selected The Great Swamp because it is Flat & the Trails are wide. There are some Single Tracks, for the more Experienced. Also, the Great Swamp, is Beautiful, with Osprey, Prehistoric looking Birds that swoop down and catch fish.

FYI: I am not an Experienced Off Road Rider, but Off Roading has always interested me. This is a Great Place for beginners. My Bike does not have any suspension, it is your basic Mountain / Hybrid Bike.

Lunch, afterwards, at a Luncheonette, located just before you get to the Swamp.

Directions: 95 South, Exit 9, Route 4 South, this is a Left Lane Exit, Take exit 5B, Left at Light, on to Route 2, follow Route 2, for a while, then take a Left on Route 138. Right on Liberty Lane, for about 1 Mile. Left on Gravel Road, go about 1 Mile & you will see the Parking Lot.

Just to let you know, I am still going. If the Woods are too Wet, I will take you to a Bike Path. We can Ride our Bikes there. If you decide not to attend, please change your RSVP. Thanks !!

In general I would be interested in off road biking but I live in MA too. I have a basic mountain bike without suspension but like less technical off road trails.

Terry, I'd be interested; I live in MA, not RI so Blue Hills is easier to get to. I do not have a 'true' MTB, rather a hard tail hybrid, but I go through the trails at Massasoit State Park regularly, and have ridden Blue Hills a couple of times.
