Who wants to learn how to cook delicious & nutritious vegan food???
Fun, inspirational, and educational! The first two classes got rave reviews. It's not too late to sign up for the 3rd class.
Banana Slugs for Animals is putting on an event where anyone can join - whether they be a chef or not. We will learn how to create amazing dishes such as dolmas, chocolate mousse, sushi, and more, by the skillful Radha Vignola during a round of three classes. This will take place on April 20, May 18, and May 25. These are all Friday evenings and will be from 5:30pm - 8:00pm at the Village Kitchen, which is located on the UCSC campus.
Whether you are vegan or not, this will be an excellent way to gain a new experience with new kinds of foods. The majority of our foods will include beans, nuts, seeds, fruits, veggies, and whole grains. YUM!
The total cost to take these cooking classes is $30 per person which covers all 3 dinners. Radha will bring all the organic and vegan ingredients to the Village Kitchen. All we attendees have to do is arrive on time with empty stomachs! If you did not go to the first two classes, you can still come to the 3rd class at the total cost of $10.00 per person.
Unfortunately, there is a 25 person limit due to a space limitation in the Village Kitchen. We need to know who would like to attend ASAP so we can reserve your spot! Also, please invite any friends who would be interested. After we are done preparing the food we get to dig into our wonderful creations!
Please register and pay before the class begins, so we know how many people are coming and how much food to buy.
