The Future of Living

As technology progresses, it's fair to ask: what does it mean to be alive?  Forget utilizing technology, forget implanting technology, what happens when anything human becomes totally superfluous.  What if "consciousness" can be entirely implanted into an artificial construction.  Does that still count as life?  What would the ramifications of such a state of affairs be?  Is this even possible?

Come join us as we ponder these and other questions.  And make sure to check the readings sections for a couple of pieces meant to provoke discussion.

Hope to see everyone there!
