Remember when Napster was a thing? Well as we near the 11 year anniversary of its being shutdown, let's look at the state of the music business 11 years later with a pair of articles that address such weighty questions as:
Has technology helped or hindered musicians? Can musicians still make a living from their music? If they can't, is that maybe a good thing? And perhaps, an even more meta question emerges: do we shape technology to fit our morals an values or are morals and values changing to shape technology?
