It's becoming increasingly clear that technology is reshaping our world in incredibly profound ways. Let's get together to discuss, think, argue and explore what this change means for our most deeply felt beliefs. What is the value/purpose/meaning of a human life in a world where we're increasingly outdated? I anticipate this group being a discussion/reading/movie watching group. I've got some authors I'd like to explore (Ray Kurzweil, Thomas Carlson, John Modern among others) and movies I want to watch (The Matrix and Transcendent Man among others), but I also want to discover more on this topic, so if you guys have authors or films you'd like to discuss, let's hear 'em! This is our chance to figure out the implications of an awesome and terrifying period of change in human history. I hope you'll join me.
