Boardgame Potluck @ Sarah's!

We want to make sure that as many people as possible get to participate in a boardgame night each month since they are the most popular event, so please follow the guidelines on each of the other boardgame nights... basically if you've already gotten into one, please give other people a chance to get into the others. If you would like to attend this event and are already RSVPed to another boardgame potluck, please wait until Thursday, February 14th before RSVPing to this one.

Grab your favorite board game and some good food, and bring it on over to my place! Geeky board games welcome (Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan) or just fun party games (Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity, or Say Anything)... though if you're set on playing anything super time-consuming (Risk, Monopoly), your experience might not be as fun/varied.

A bonus note on snacks: Most people come straight from work without getting a chance to eat dinner.  Please be considerate and bring something dinnery, and not just snacks.  If you don't have time to make something, please consider picking up something dinnery from the ready-made section of the grocery store or something similar.  If things need microwaving, heating, etc we can definitely help out with that!

If you are coming from Lawrence and Oakmead please turn left into the first gate you come across to the complex. If you are coming from other way down Lakeside turn right into the last gate.  The code to the gate is 0275 and it will ring my phone.  All spots are guest parking unless it is in a gated garage.  There is plenty of parking.  There are signs to guide the way after that.

Hey Sarah! I changed my RSVP to reflect that I was sick this morning but I just got a "rate the meetup" email. I'm really sorry, I don't know how this happened! I even double-checked to make sure my name wasn't on the list anymore. :(

Can someone bring something dinner like? I am not going to be able to provide something like that. I am going to provide something sweet.

I'll bring something dinnery, tbd. The last couple of game nights I went to (not geek group), the hosts listed something dinnery in the description & everyone brought snacks like little cookies/munchies/chips -- not sure what was up with that, either people were too lazy to buy/cook or becoming "cheap".... I was the only one who brought some type of dinner item & I thought I read the description wrong, but that was the only substantial food item that evening. :(

Hi Sarah! I'm Hilary. Hope all is well. I normally bring food to board game events, and I've noticed that most others do the same. However, I've also noticed that some hosts provide drinks while others prefer that guests bring their own potluck food/drinks and then take home whatever is left over. So my question is, will drinks (soda, juice, water etc.) be provided or does a person or two who have RSVP's normally show up with drinks too? Thanks!

I usually provide a couple of two leaders of soda. People can bring drinks too.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
