Book Club Part One

  • This location is no longer available

The books for April are:

Nine Princes in Amber by Roger Zelazney
Written in Red by Anne Bishop

Read one or both books, whatever you have time for. We will discuss the two selections and then make new recommendations. Bring snacks and drinks to share.

How do I make recommendations? Go to the link below.

Already read books are on the discussion board under this link.[masked]

We also have a group at

Make a profile and join, so we have a place to discuss the selections besides on the site.

If you are coming from Lawrence and Oakmead please turn left into the first gate you come across to the complex. If you are coming from other way down Lakeside turn right into the last gate. The code to the gate is 0275 and it will ring my phone. All spots are guest parking unless it is in a gated garage. There is plenty of parking. There are signs to guide the way after that. Call[masked] if you have any issues.

Kudos to Bishop for making a totally fantastic setting somehow familiar and everyday. That's not easy. She also makes it easy for me to care about all the characters, which is also to her credit. So...on the 21st is the discussion about Bishop's book or Zelazney's?

We discuss both books at both meetings.

I just finished reading "Written in Red". What a fun, easy read! Thanks to whoever suggested it :)
I'm usually part of the other book club. Do you guys bring food to share?

Yep, snacks and drinks are usually brought by everyone.
