Maker Faire Bay Area

I'm rounding up a posse to check out Maker Faire.Ticket prices will definitely be higher at the door, please let me know if you haven't gotten tickets yet. I would like to get at least 4 others to do the Sunday Family pass for 50% discount. http://makerfaire2013.eventbrite.com/

We will meet in the parking area off Perimeter Road adjacent to Sears and Sears Auto at Vallco (aka Cupertino Square on Wolfe & Stevens Creek) about 9am and roll out as cars are filled.

Anyone interested in carpooling, please say in the comments:

  • where you're coming from?
  • offering to drive?
  • passenger looking for a spot?

SMEC charges for parking so passengers should chip in for gas and parking since drivers are volunteering their cars.

At SMEC, if you want to meet up with others that arrived at different times, we're congregating by the Expo Hall doors closest to Fiesta Hall at 11am.

The event runs from 10am to 6pm but I'm cutting out no later than 4pm due to a prior commitment.

Hey all, I'm gonna hang out across from the Sierra Nevada booth for about 10 minutes if you want to meet up.

I'm going on Saturday with the peninsula geek club. Feel free to join in if you can't do Sunday. There's no harm in being in both clubs. :-)
