We will power through obstacles as only geeks can!  We will show the POWER and determination of the geek as we move together as a team of geeks towards the finish line and the enjoyment of victory!

THE GORY DETAILS

3 Musical Bands
The most insane day of your life! (if you survive)

-Tube Steak: Grovel through the mud and stank to freedom
-Mud Madness: Slither on your belly through a trough of mud
-Fools Spools: Test your hops or your belly flops when making your way over the giant spools
-Heartbreak Ridge: These stairs go up so high you'll think you're climbing to heaven
-Polar Bear Plunge: Blast through a waist-deep icy pool of water
-Terrible Tires: You'll burn more than rubber going over this knee-high hell
-Nightmare Mystery Obstacle
-Eye of the Needle: Rumble through the hanging tire jungle
-Cargo Congo Climb: Scramble up and over massive cargo nets
-Wall of Fame: Conquer the 8ft wall of fame or face the 4ft pink wall of shame
-Spider Web: Walk, crawl, slither uphill under the widow's web
-The Beast: Release your inner beast to scale this monster
-Buddha's Burden: Deliver forty pound bags of rice, forty yards to the foot of the Buddha to relive his burden.
-Hay Bale Hill: Stampede up and over the giant hay bales
-Another Nightmare Mystery Obstacle
-Twinkle Toes: Balance your stuff or fall off and eat dust.  Then drop and give us twenty
-Gladiator BBQ: Race through fiery flames

      I have done these before and you really do need to be in good shape. I recommend cross training if you can and not just doing cardio. I did rugby conditioning, cardio four days a week, and weekly yoga and dance classes. One of the most useful things was trail running; but make sure it is one with lots of elevation changes and/or stairs.
