Jenn is tapping into her Memphis side with an amazing southern BBQ menu paired with local micro brews. She is truly a goddess amongst this type of food! Smoked meats, homemade BBQs, smoked sweet potato salad and one of the most glorious batches of macaroni and cheeses you'll ever have! We'll be playing a nice selection of vintage blues, R&B and jazz including BB King, Ray Charles, Muddy Waters, Jimmie Vaughan and more.
For those who are unfamiliar with Southbound, here's more information about the club:
"Jenn and I run a separate supper club twice a month (every 1st and 3rd Friday) called Southbound Supper Club. Its a paid dinner event that brings together serious a nice blend of foodies and features some of Jenn's best chef work! In addition to her food, she makes signature buttermilk biscuits with slow-cooked apple butter, Holland-import hot cocoa, and "After Dinner" Mint Oreo Fudge. There's also Apple Pie Moonshine and wine available, but you are more than welcome to BYOB. We only seat a maximum of 10 people for the entire four-course evening and everyone eats and interacts at the same table. If you've ever had Jenn's food, this is a great opportunity to catch her at her best!"
You can let us know if you're coming here on the meetup site BUT to reserve a seat for dinner, you have to go to the website (www.southboundsupperclub.org), click the "RESERVATIONS" button at the top, and fill out the RSVP form. We can only hold seats for those who RSVP via our website.
Side Note: You can RSVP to future dinners well in advance (up until the end of the year), so if you can't make this one but you can make the next one, fill out the RSVP form and we'll add you.
