Geographic Society of Chicago: Winter 2013 Travelogue Series

Presenter: Lynn Funkhouser

Environmentalist, Underwater Photographer

Award-winning underwater photographer, Lynn will share photos from her latest diving expedition to the Philippines. Diving and photography have been Lynn’s passion for over 30 years. As an environmentalist, she is committed to making a difference on this planet through her images.
Her favorite place to dive is the Philippines. It lies in the Coral Triangle (along with parts of Indonesia & New Guinea), which missed an ice age 18,000 years ago. This explains why The Philippines has the richest species diversification in the world. Enjoy a trip to the warm coral reefs of The Philippines.
