Describe one of your favorite things geographic.

My two favorite cities (at least in terms of built form) have to be Amsterdam and Venice. The way each city has evolved over time and their symbiosis with the natural environment (i.e. the incorporation of water as a defining feature) are truly remarkable. Both are epic examples of proto-urban planning and the wonders of human ingenuity.
