Ok gang, we are 28 days from the event. Please keep your RSVP current. I will start discussions with the club about about final arrangements. Remember the club is arranging trainers, guns ammo and special course for us based on 47 attendees.

Laura, the only advice I have is that the guns the club supplies are top shelf gas operated semi automatics. Provided the gun is held properly the recoil was very light in my opinion. Maybe some that went last year would like to chime in. I can recall only one person having difficulty with recoil and the club did everything the could to accommodate. They do have a few 20gauge guns the can resort to if there is a problem. Most people experience problems when the don't hold the gun properly. The choice is yours ultimately you know your limitations.

      May 4

    • Laura

Thanks Troy. I think I'll be fine with the 20 ga.

      May 4

  • Troy

There have been a few questions concerning the shotguns. The club rental guns are top shelf semi auto shotguns that generally shoot very soft with the supplied light target loads.

For those asking about bringing their own gun. You may bring your own gun as long as you are familiar with its operation and can safely handle your firearm. There will be no change in the package price. Your firearm should function on 12ga target loads.
