A Photo Safari To Joshua Tree National Park, CA

http://www.nps.gov/jo... On this I would suggest an overnight staying in the town of Twentynine Palms. JTNP is a very big place with a lot to see. After a day of shooting and hopefully some stunning sunsets it is better to get a nights sleep before heading back. It is just east of Palm Springs. About a two hour drive from Burbank/Glendale. Also in that area is Idyllwild Park. Let's get some input on dates. Remember that JT gets really hot in the summer Joshua Tree National Park 74485 National Park Drive Twentynine Palms, CA[masked]

How did things go? I can keep coming up with ideas, I just hope I can get to them. Sometimes my job schedule sucks. :-)

Tracy, I've sent you an email. If anyone else wants to camp with us - get in touch :)

Tracy, my friend and I are the only people in the car, so you can come with us but we decided to camp over night and go back on Sunday.
Is anyone else coming? Or just us? Everyone is really quiet..

As an option we can stay overnight in White Tank campground and do some night shots of the Arch Rock...

I'd love to come and will probably stay late for some night shots as well. Won't stay the night and will drive home after that.

Due to my very unpredictable work schedule I will not be able to get out there. How ever if anyone wants to take the lead, by all means go for it. the 14th now falls in the middle of a 5 day show. Sorry about that. :-)

Hello everyone, I went to JTNP last Saturday, and there were hardly any flowers.

Rj how many are planning to stay overnight?

    March 20, 2012

  • RJ C.

OK. Last year Poppy Reserve was a bust. Not enough rain. :-)

JTNP just had a foot of snow on the 15th, some areas closed. I will keep you updated when the wildflowers are in bloom. It is all dependent on the amount of rain, same as the poppy reserve.

    When is that Ebie.

    February 21, 2012

You should also consider the wildflower season. Depending on how much rain we get....

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
